Getting Started: Toronto Travel Tribe’s founding meet-up

Toronto Travel Tribe was born during the Toronto Travel Bloggers July 2010 Tweet-up on the patio of Spice Route. It was inspired by Alicia Taggio’s post about her night out with the Sydney Travel Tribe in May 2010. Mariellen (BreatheDreamGo) mentioned the post to Alicia, and together they exclaimed, at the same time, “Why don’t we create a Toronto Travel Tribe!” Great minds think alike. Obviously.

The object is to bring together travel writers and bloggers with people in the travel industry in Toronto for monthly meet-ups where ideas, tips, advice and news is shared; synergies created; and friendships formed.
