March Wrap-Up

This month was certainly a whirlwind of travel and tweetups. Our very own Mariellen headed off to India (you can follow her adventures @breathedreamgo) and Alicia took the reigns by hosting the March Meetup at Flight Centre’s Head Office in Toronto.

A big thank-you to the good people at Flight Centre Canada for having us, and One Blonde Chef for providing the Sushi and Davids Tea 🙂

The very wise Dennis (aka @sidetripca) spoke about airfares, and demystified a lot of the myths associated with them. We learned lots of valuable tips from him and found out that most Canadians on avg book 3 weeks before their departure date, when they should be booking at least 3 months in advance. We opened up the floor for questions and Dennis was happy to share his immense wealth of knowledge with us all. Thanks again Dennis!

Another big thanks to Gregg Tilston who spoke about Social Media, managing multiple personalities online, and managing a global initiative. From SEO to scheduling tweets, he was happy to share his opinion to the group and offer some valuable insight into the world of online engagement.
