LMA Raises Awareness for their Brands

🇨🇦 This article was originally published on the Toronto Travel Massive blog

LMA Communications is a Toronto-based public relations firm that represents various travel brands such as the Grenada Board of Tourism, COMO Hotels and Resorts and the luxurious Kensington World Tours. The fun and hard-working people of LMA Communications — who have always been strong supporters of Toronto Travel Massive — first hosted us at their offices in May 2011. As well as providing our members with a wonderful spread that included sushi and wine, each travel brand held interactive presentations and gave away information, gift bags and prizes. It was a fun evening, as well as mutually beneficial to all who attended as synergies were created and LMA PR raised awareness of their travel brands. Read the May wrap-up post to find out more about this event. LMA PR founder Maureen Wright and her team, including the lovely Lindsay Tessis, did a fabulous job welcoming the Toronto Travel Massive. Here’s what they had to say:

“LMA Communications hosted a Toronto Travel Massive Tweet-up (TTM) in May 2011. The event was a huge success and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with TTM again (in fact we’re hoping to do a repeat!). Hosting this evening allowed us to introduce key Canadian travel bloggers to our roster of international clients. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with the blogging community. As more emphasis is placed on the web, blogging is growing in importance as part of the new media scene. Bloggers can provide real-time coverage, which can be extremely valuable to our clients. LMA attends the TTM meet-ups on a monthly basis and we have grown to feel a part of this supportive and positive network. The blogging community is important to us and it is one that we are committed to working with on a long-term basis.”

In September 2012, LMA hosted Toronto Travel Massive for a second time, this time to bring together bloggers and their clients from Florida’s tourism boards. Canadians are the most frequent travellers to the Sunshine State who traditionally seek sun, sand and a relaxing getaway. LMA’s goal was to work with bloggers to spread the word about some of Florida’s new, unknown attractions and places less travelled to. Read more about LMA’s Visit Florida event.
