🇨🇦 This article was originally published on the Toronto Travel Massive blog

2012 is definitely going to be an exciting year for travel brands and bloggers to work together; which is why we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year than at Google Canada HQ!

The wonderful Andrew Swartz from Google hosted us at their offices in downtown Toronto to talk about online travel trends, Google+ and how bloggers and brands can work together on this platform.

After learning about how Canadians are researching and booking their travel online, we soon discovered all the fantastic tools that can be utilized on Google’s platform include Google Insights and Google+. We even did a live ‘hangout’ at the event and learned how brands and individuals are using it in all sorts of unique and creative ways.

A HUGE thank you to Andrew and the team at Google for their wonderful hospitality and insight into the world of Google+. From the photographers, to the travel industry folks, I think it’s safe to say we all went home with some new ideas, and insightful knowledge of how consumers are using the internet before, during and after their travel experiences.
