TTM Goes Down Under for Australia Day

To kick off the new year we celebrated all things Aussie with awesome tourism company Down Under Travel, who specialize in travel to Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific islands, Asia and Africa. Australia Day is held annually on January 26, and as the majority of our Canadian travel massive community have explored this exciting country, celebrating here was only fitting!
We had a massive turnout of Aussie lovers, and even had our own Aussie bartender, who poured us shots of Milo and took everyone he spoke to back on a nostalgic journey of their travels to Australia.
We’d like to give a big thank you to Down Under Travel (@DownunderTvlLTD) who brought with them a suitcase of goodies, prizes which included t shirts, laptop bags and plenty of Aussie souvenirs and information on the tours they have available.
Each Travel Massive attendee received an information pack, with Aussie signature vegemite and koala bears! Massive thanks to Nestle for providing a whole tub of the Aussie favourite Nestle Milo chocolate drink mix and the Murray River Salt company in Oz for their gourmet salt flakes imported right from Australia’s longest river!
We would also like to thank The Office Pub, who hosted us this month and supplied $4 cocktail drinks, $5 beers, plenty of food for all of our hungry travel blogging friends as well as Karaoke to round off the night!
