At the Toronto Travel Massive meet-up in April we partnered with LMA Communications and new sponsor, Visit Philly for a glimpse into Philadelphia’s unique culture and eclectic food scene and why the City of Brotherly Love is a must-visit destination for Canadian travellers.

Why Visit Philly?

Museums, parks, and attractions are the main reasons to explore a new city, but Canadian travellers also want to experience a city through its food and culture! In fact, few know that Philadelphia is all about its quirky festivals, tax-free shopping, and more than 3000 murals of community art! Here are just some of the reasons why we want to visit Philadelphia and why you should too!

We can’t talk about Philly without talking about cheese steak! Along with delicious appetizers and wine, the team at Visit Philly provided us with our own culinary Chef Scott @FoodsYouCanEat who made us laugh over succulent Philly Cheese Steak Tartar.

Believe it or not, Philadelphia is only 9 hours and 2 minutes drive from Toronto (we Googled it!) making it the ideal city for a good ol’ Canadian road trip – after all, Canadians LOVE road trips. Our summer time long weekends are made for them!
