Toronto Travel Massive was proud to partner with India Tourism and Intrepid Travel to celebrate our 4th anniversary event in August 2014. The aim of the event was multi-fold.
- To help build and facilitate the first blogger-brand working relationship with India Tourism
- To introduce travel to India to the Canadian market online
- To increase awareness of, and engage travellers about, unique, off-path experiences in India
- To raise awareness about the Intrepid Travel Foundation and Project SAMA.
- To encourage donations to the Intrepid Travel Foundation and inspire travellers to give back in India.
The event was held at The Host with an all India-inspired theme including authentic Indian dishes and cocktails, including The Taj Mahal, specially-created spicy Chai Martini for the event. The event was an opportunity for India Tourism to showcase why India is one of the most popular destinations to travel.
India Tourism also provided an opportunity for guests to dress in traditional Indian saris.

Giving Back in India
Intrepid Travel offered guests a presentation about responsible travel and a chance to learn how their project, Project SAMA is fighting gender inequality in India and around the globe. View the presentation here. Their presentation encouraged volunteering in India and on-site donations.
Giveaways
Prize winners walked away with a 6-night stay for two at the Toshali Resort in India, a Go Global Expo Rough Guides to India prize pack, and a 15-day Intrepid Travel tour of Classic Rajasthan in a tweet-to-win giveaway contest.
The event generated discussion via the hashtag #IndiaMassive with an estimated reach on Twitter of 167K and 693K impressions.
