Giving Back with Intrepid Travel

Intrepid Travel is a long-time supporter of Toronto Travel Massive and has been an integral part of our anniversary event each year. This year was no exception. While the folks at Intrepid are world-renowned for their adventure travel and experiences they understand the importance of giving back to the communities we visit.

At the Toronto meet-up in August, they presented on their current initiative Project SAMA, which is helping to fight gender inequalities in places like India and around the globe. Gender inequality is a growing concern – about 66% of work around the world is performed by women, but they earn a meager 10% of the world’s total income and own only 1% of the world’s property.
