Toronto Travel Massive at G Adventures Basecamp
Our Toronto Travel Massive community was treated to an inspirational and fun virtual Antarctic expedition during our latest meetup at the G Adventures Basecamp in downtown Toronto. From the moment we walked into the lobby we were spoiled with lots of amazing goodies!

Each member got a swag bag from our hosts inside the G adventures Basecamp including Bruce Poon Tip’s latest book The Looptail on how he is using travel to change the world, plus some great G Adventures T-shirts.

If that wasn’t enough G Adventures also treated us to a spread of nibbles, drinks and even fresh popped popcorn and an Ice Cream freezer!

Our members had lots of time to mingle and network during the event. It was great to see so many new faces join us for the first time. Even with the large open space at basecamp, we had a full house of Travel Massive Toronto community members.

G Adventures Basecamp
Our amazing hosts this week were the team of “CEOs” from G Adventures. This is no ordinary tour operator. G adventures provides small group tours, safaris and expeditions all over the world – their goal is to change people’s lives through travel experiences.
But they are not just changing the traveller’s lives! They believe in small-scale tours in local accommodations, and using local restaurants in tours designed to support locally owned businesses.
Travel is about creating a positive, sustainable tourism approach that inspires global change – G Adventures
G Adventures also uses their own travel blog, The Looptail to inspire other travellers. It is also where a series of travel bloggers can share their stories, tips and experiences with the world. G Adventures would love to hear about your inspiring stories and if they are a suitable fit to their blog you can be featured as a travel expert! Visit the site for more details.

Our community was challenged to tweet about what they would like to do on an Antarctic expedition.

While we oohed and awwed at his inspiring pictures, every person in the room was dreaming about taking their own Antarctic adventure with G Adventures. The winner of our tweet-up giveaway was Jane from Grown Up Travels who walked away with a $500 gift certificate for a G Adventures tour!
Brian @briansyyz and Sharon from Dream Travel Magazine won swag bag and a photo book from Paul.
Thanks to all who attended! We can’t wait to do it all again next month!
