The Most Unusual Venues from Travel Massive Meetups Around the World
Travel Massive was born on the rooftop patio of YHA in Sydney, Australia. That was back in 2010. Since then, Travel Massive has made it’s way to more than 100+ cities globally, usually in pubs, restaurants, hotels and other fun, casual atmospheres. But sometimes events take place at the most unordinary places. Here are some of the most unique venues where Travel Massive events took place around the world.
In a Ruin Pub
Only in Budapest could Travel Massive happen in a ruin pub. The city is known for it’s old abandoned buildings-turned-hangouts. It’s not luxury by any means and you may find you’re stepping over rubble ground but it certainly is very local and cultural.

In a Boat
The Vltava River is a common meeting place in Prague for locals and travellers alike. Hop into a boat with a big pint of Pilsner and you never know who you’ll rub elbows with!

On a Cruise Ship
In a 125-year Old Victorian Home
In an Ice House
By the Ocean
On an Island
In a Cooking Studio

In a Museum
A place to learn a little and have some fun. How about hosting your next event in a museum? Berlin Travel Massive hosted one of their meet-ups at the Spy Museum Berlin for a little something special including a personalized tour and a huge chat about big data.
On a Train
Our Toronto community took Travel Massive meet-up on the road – a train ride to explore a new part of their city.
