Atlanta’s Second Travel Massive Anniversary
This September, the Atlanta Travel Massive chapter celebrated their second anniversary. Hosted at the offices of the Explore Georgia, a branch of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the rain didn’t stop the fun of the event. As soon as the skies cleared, the group was offered views of midtown and the surrounds from the penthouse patio.
We got to check out the new Georgia travel guides and their accompanying culinary guides. The Georgia fans cooled us off from the summer humidity. We also dined on tacos and treats from Bellwoods Social House and sipped on local Sweetwater beer.
The group of travel writers and bloggers, PR professionals, tour guides, photographers and other industry folks got together to mingle and discuss the future of the chapter. Chapter leader Caroline Eubanks gave a quick chat on recent additions to the Travel Massive platform and Emily Murray screened a new teaser for the Explore Georgia video.
We had a great turnout, including a number of new attendees, and hope to see everyone again in November!
