An Evening in Montana: LA Travel Massive

After a successful Evening in Montana, LA Travel Massive chapter leader Kelley Ferro put together a recap of the wonderful night for all those who missed it.

On Thursday, October 22 LA Travel Massive insiders enjoyed signature huckleberry cocktails and hearty appetizers while learning about the latest updates, travel news, tourism offerings and story ideas from Glacier Country Tourism and the Montana Office of Tourism. Under-the-radar story angles from the state’s two national parks—Yellowstone and Glacier— were shared and offered insights into our growing culinary, craft beer and distillery scene, as well as a plethora of outdoor pursuits.

During and leading up to the event, attendees tweeted @GlacierMT and shared why they wanted to visit Big Sky Country using hashtags #GlacierMT and #MontanaMoment. Congrats to the big winner, Lindsay McCormick who will get to frolic in the mountains of Montana next year. Lindsay won a three nights stay in Western Montana’s Glacier Country.

Thank you all for attending our Montana LA Travel Massive event! We were pleased to welcome the lovely ladies from Montana Office of Tourism & the Glacier County Tourism. It was a great night of meeting old and new faces and learning more about the variety of experiences to be had in Montana.

We were blown away that our venue, the Salvage Bar, even had microbrews direct from Montana and that the Montana team brought in loads of delicious cookies from their home estate.
