What makes your chapter unique?

The diversity and enthusiasm of the members within our Hamburg Travel Massive team is absolutely incredible. We have had 3 events so far, and we just love to see the engagement of the members! We cannot wait to grow and gain more experiences with Travel Massive insiders across Germany.

Tell us about your chapter leader team

As a Travel Massive leader I join Uli Sassenberg, Travel Massive Co-founder. If there is one thing that makes Uli an amazing chapter leader, it’s her energy and enthusiasm about getting things done. The importance she places on growing our young community is inspirational. Thanks for starting this with me, dear amiga 😉

What is your most memorable event in this chapter?

I really have the first event on my mind. We did not know how Hamburg was going to react to Travel Massive. It was memorable to see people showing off and actively take part.

Our opening event which was held in early June of this year at a beautiful venue filled with remarkable people. We put together some creative brainstorming initiatives and shared ideas about the travel industry.

What were the last two events about? 

During our second event we took a futuristic approach and discussed new trends and innovations in the tourism sector in general, and in Hamburg. On our last event, under the motto “giving & giving“, our sponsor GEO°BOUND provided us with a free geocaching tour and we gave feedback on their new product!

If you could highlight 3 awesome people in your chapter, who would it be?

1) Andreas Spaeth, fun to talk about travel and aviation;

2) Jörn Hoppe, lots of experience in Hamburg tourism industry and also thanks for the sponsorship provided for the first 3 events

3) Sarah Staub, energetic & great help for the networking, the first travel massive HH member!
