Introducing TRAVEL MASSIVE DAY Africa

On the 18th of November, Travel Massive South Africa will be taking Travel Massive to a whole new level, hosting the first ever Travel Massive Day. We will be holding simultaneous events in celebration of the unofficial start of the summer season, across the country.

Simon Lewis and Dawn Jorgensen brought Travel Massive to Africa just over two years ago, and are the leaders of the Cape Town Chapter. At the beginning of 2015 membership stood at just over 400, and has quickly become one of the fastest growing chapters in the world. On the 18th of November memberships across Africa will number close to 1,000 travel industry professionals and influencers.

The idea of Travel Massive Day Africa is to demonstrate the power of our growing community, and attract new members to join our existing chapters. We also want to  inspire people to start their own chapters in more cities and countries across Africa.
Travel Massive in South Africa has already gained great support from local destination management organizations, and some of our events have been sponsored by Cape Town Tourism and South African Tourism. The creation of Travel Massive Day has helped us bring in our first International sponsor, Swiss International Air Lines Limited. As Swiss Air as our sponsor, we will not only ensure that all four events have an added touch of Switzerland, but we are also offering 2 return tickets from Johannesburg to Europe for two lucky prize winners (T&C’s apply).
Travel Massive Day Africa marks a great occasion for our community in South Africa. As this will be the end of year event, it is expected that the evening will be  MASSIVE as the community of travel insiders continues to grow and expand into Africa.
