Athens Travel Massive Has Launched

In the spirit of local tourism and last month’s global theme #TMResponsibleTourism, Travel Massive Athens launched their first event while dedicating the event to discuss and share ideas about voluntourism, sustainability and social interaction. 

The Athens Travel Massive chapter hopes to  explore together how acts, ideas, cases, intentions and initiatives can leave a positive mark in the way we travel and the way we work as travel professionals sharing ideas on:

– Volunteering tourism
– Sustainable Tourism and destination branding
– Responsible Tourism and social interaction

The biggest question Travel Massive chapter leaders asked their insiders to walk away thinking about for the next event was “what would you do to make a positive change in travel?“

All-in-all the event was a huge success with over 70 people in attendance. Many thanks to our venue sponsor BARLEY CARGO for the great support, offering us the opportunity to taste some selective quality Greek products that focus on sustainable production and are related to Greek destinations, Nissos Beer – Tinos Island and Septem Beer – Evoia island.
