What makes your chapter unique?

The chapter leaders of Travel Massive Stockholm are 3 very driven women with great connections in the travel industry. They have made it possible for others as well as myself to meet new friends in tourism and in the blogging world. They have coached us a great deal to be able to find future partners to collaborate with. The Stockholm chapter is very good for networking and we keep in constant contact between the arranged meet ups through our blogs, homepages, e-mail, Instagram, Twitter and on Facebook groups.

The Stockholm Travel Massive chapter feels like a bunch of friends hanging out!

Tell us about your chapter leaders.

Lola Akinmade is quite a unique woman. Lola has an incredible talent with photography and running her own company. I am an admirer. Lola runs the blog Geotraveler’s Niche, as well as Slow Travel Stockholm.

Sofia Zetterqvist is a wonderful friend and travel blogger at Fantasiresor. She can also be quite the foodie. Sofia always works hard on a variety of projects while somehow always managing to network on top of it all.

Annika Myhre is a travel blogger at Resfredag. Annika is an expert on traveling with children and sharing her experiences along the way. She is an inspiration to many.

What is your most memorable event in this chapter?

The most memorable event with Travel Massive Stockholm was networking on a boat with MSC cruises. While the travellers on board the MSC cruise were out exploring Stockholm, we were all there networking on board. I soon after booked a cruise for myself, inspired by the event.

What was the last Stockholm event about? 

The September event was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Stockholm. We had wonderful Swiss cheese, chocolate, and wine tasting sponsored by Switzerland Tourism. The host of the event was Travellink.

If you could highlight 3 awesome people in your chapter, who would it be?

Only 3? I can give you 10! But okay, here we go.

Daniela Olsson who blogs at Discovering the Planet is a fellow friend and traveller. I don’t know how she does it while managing her time between work and blogging. Daniela has inspired me to work harder on Instagram and through my photography. 

Jeanette Seflin is new to the Travel Massive Stockholm chapter, but has the most inspiring photographs from her travels in France and Spain. Jeanette is a photographer and make-up artist when she’s not networking with Travel Massive members. 

Helena Gunnare is a friend and fellow travel blogger/photographer at Oh darling – lets be adventurers. Helena is a London expert who I dream about road-tripping Iceland with. She is as passionate about nature as I am.

• A meet up on a moving train. A possible host could be SJ, Sweden’s train operator. Swedes always blame SJ for everything and it would be cool to let them show Travel Massive insiders what they are all about. 
• A meet up in the archipelago of Sweden, preferably during the summer.
• A meet up at an new up and coming attraction in Stockholm.
