Travel Massive Insiders Talk Tech & Startups

Last month Travel Massive insiders from the San Francisco chapter came together to discuss travel tech and startups within the industry. Hosted by the wonderful Foundation Capital at their downtown San Francisco office, the evening was filled with beer, wine and great conversation.

The event sponsor for the evening was WeTravel, a company which provides tools for organizing, sharing, and managing group trips. WeTravel was also featured on our Travel and Tech series, if you would like to learn a little bit more about what they do.

WeTravel received an investment round from Foundation Capital and were working out of their space for a few months while receiving expert advice from their advisors.

It was a networking event with approximately 75 Travel Massive attendees. The demographics of the evening leaned more towards tech and start up companies, but there were also many bloggers, tour operators and hospitality industry professionals. Half way through the event we stopped for a few announcements to welcome everyone to the Travel Massive event as Erika Helstrom provided updates about the chapters achievements thus far and upcoming events and news.
