The Most Memorable Travel Massive Moments in 2015

It’s been a wonderful year of new meet ups, new chapter launches and a whole bunch more new travel connections. Today, we take a look back on our favourite events of the year. Whether they were smaller launch events or a fiesta on a cruise ship, there is much to be said about 2015!

Some 2015 Launches 

– Budapest Travel Massive launched their first Travel Massive in February of 2015 and shared with us a photo montage.

– Amsterdam Travel Massive launched their first Travel Massive in February 2015 and put together an awesome video to showcase their new group of insiders.

– New Delhi Travel Massive launched their first Travel Massive in early April in a beautifully lush and picturesque location.

– The month of April also welcomed Edinburgh Travel Massive as they started their chapter off focusing on the youth travel industry at an awesome hostel nearby.

– Shanghai Travel Massive’s launch event focused on the future of Chinese Outbound Tourism and developed some very neat conclusions.

– Bucharest Travel Massive launched their first event on a roof top bar overlooking an incredible sunset.

– During the month of October, Helsinki launched their chapter with complimentary cocktails, food and a beautiful  venue. They wrapped it all up with a great video.

Unique 2015 Locations 

– Our Toronto Travel Massive community was treated to an inspirational and fun virtual Antarctic expedition at the G Adventures Basecamp in downtown Toronto.

– Back in June of 2015, 40 of our Stockholm Travel Massive insiders spent some relaxing time mingling on an MSC cruise ship for the day.

– During the Pan Am Games in Toronto, our Toronto Travel Massive community joined in on a scavenger hunt in Ontario Travel’s Celebration Zone.

– Sydney Travel Massive started one of the coolest events of the year, a bar walking tour of Sydney, Travel Massive’s first ever Pub Crawl.

– Most recently hosted was our Travel Massive Day South Africa which included events across Africa simultaneously and sponsored by Swiss International Airlines.

2015 Conferences

– Kicking off the new year with a stop at ITB Berlin and offering one of the most epic pre-ITB parties on the map

– Travel Massive jumped on board to celebrate TBEX in Costa Brava, for those who missed the party, a blog post was shared with all the great photos from the event.

– One of our awesome Travel Massive members shared online a great video from Travel Massive London’s WTM pre-event party!

– Travel Massive hosted a pre-conference party for TBEX in Fort Lauderdale. This was the first ever Travel Massive event that was also a silent dance party.

Last and certainly not least, we cannot forget about the April Fools prank we pulled off quite literally after announcing that Travel Massive bought a Greek island. A few months later, though we did not buy an actual island, we hosted our first Travel Massive Unconference in Ios, Greece.
