[VIDEO] London’s Christmas Event with SplitCab

Last month SplitCab treated Travel Massive London members to a few drinks, nibbles and some exciting prizes during our December Christmas Extravaganza at The Bridge Coffee House and Bar in Shoreditch. With a mixture of antiques and memorabilia from around the world and 1920s glamour – it’s a truly unique bar.

The event kicked off at 6:30pm and included the usual mix of London’s finest travel industry folks – from PRs to bloggers, vloggers, start-ups and travel industry representatives.

Splitcab, based at Shoreditch’s influential tech hub, launched in early 2015 and quickly gained industry support. The concept is simple – split your cab ride to the airport, save money and help cut carbon emissions by reducing the number of cars on the road. On top of it all, we had two surprise musical performances throughout the night.

• Abs Yesufu is a talented singer/songwriter from London. His genre can only be described as Acoustic Soul. He loves to play to all kinds of audiences and loves to perform. He is currently writing for different artists in different genres of music.
• Rakhesh Martyn is a personable Sri Lankan who has recently moved to London from Teesside to broaden his reach. His Vine channel has been the subject of unintentional confusion from a mostly American audience, with a loop count of over 9 million to date. He will be performing a couple of songs by his biggest influence, as well as a bit of travel-based stand-up to give you some festive laughs.
