We’ve launched the Travel Massive Marketplace.

Today we’re announcing the Travel Massive Marketplace – a place for our community to list and discover tourism and travel industry opportunities in more than 50 countries world-wide. Read on to learn more about it and some of the features we’ve developed.

We created the marketplace for our community – you asked for it – so here it is!

As a member of the Travel Massive community you can now list business and partnership opportunities in 11 categories specifically tailored for the tourism industry:

Create a listing and get a special thank you.

If your company has a job or partnership opportunity, create a marketplace listing and in return our team will send you a special thank you message from our official Instagram and Twitter account to celebrate our launch.

Fair pricing world-wide

When we set out to design and build the marketplace, we wanted to ensure that it was accessible to everyone in our community – from New York to Manila. So we created our pricing in local currencies, using an economic index based on the cost of living for each market. A marketplace listing in the USA is priced at $99 USD whereas in the Philippines a local listing is only P2299 (approximately $48 USD).

Industry opportunities only!

Our marketplace is focussed only on travel industry listings – such as jobs, affiliate programs, consulting services, courses, and so on. To ensure that all marketplace listings are beneficial and are genuine opportunities, we created a list of Marketplace Guidelines. As part of the guidelines, we will also review all listings before they are published. (By the way, we also have free company listings if you want to list your travel business.)

Transparency. No bullshit.

We decided to develop transparency into the marketplace by displaying the membership reach of the market you wish to post to. For example, if you posted a listing in Germany (where we have 5 chapters) you’ll see that your post can reach up to 1282 members (at time of writing) and 5790 members in the European region. Some regions are bigger than others – but in smaller markets our team will also reach out directly to our community to get the word out to more members.

Giving back to the community

As part of our commitment to support our growing community 20% of our marketplace revenue will be provided to our soon to be released community fund (which we mentioned last year when we announced our accelerator program). The fund will commit a percentage of revenue back to our community to support projects and initiatives of our members.
