Check Out the Thessaloniki- Johannesburg Exchange

With a Opa! and a Howzit!, the Thessaloniki- Johannesburg Exchange took place this month in person and via Skype!

This was an initiative hosted by the Thessaloniki Chapter to promote, learn, and in a way experience other cities around the world. The Johannesburg Chapter was the first to take up the challenge.

Using the hashtag  #thejhbexchange, chapter members spent time photographing and filming their respective cities.

On the evening of the event, videos were swapped. Thessaloniki watched a video produced by the Johannesburg Chapter and the Johannesburg chapter watched a video produced by Mellon Upgrade Adv in Thessaloniki.

From Travel Massive Johannesburg’s Greek themed evening in Johannesburg, superbly hosted by 125 on Van Buuren to Thessaloniki’s Event at the Biscotto Coffee, we had Skype calls from one event to the other, prizes with a 2 night stay from 125 on Van Buuren, The Mediterranean Palace Hotel , The Park Hotel and a Greek Travel Guide. Members had an absolute blast.

P.S Our hosts John and Pam went so far as to make us Moussaka and Halva Ice Cream ..delicious!

Out of the box, not the usual, interactive and a load of fun, we’d recommend an exchange between cities to everyone.
