10 Inspiring Travel Massive Chapters to Follow

Travel Massive is a global network of travel industry insiders who are making travel better in more than 50 countries. There are 10 chapters in particular that we want to spotlight.

These 10 Travel Massive chapters have grown exponentially over the past couple of years and have many examples to show for it. If you’re looking for more inspiration to run your own city chapter or perhaps even start your own chapter in a local city, these are just some of the incredible chapters we already have that are running excellent events with excellent attendance numbers.

1. Travel Massive Berlin

With more than 1,500 community members, there’s no doubt that Berlin is a booming place for travel industry professionals. Travel Massive Berlin takes advantage of tourism events in the area and works with these events to plan excellent after parties and kick-off parties. Berlin is also well known for hosting some very unique events (like at a spy museum) with very intriguing focuses (like supporting refugees through tourism).

2. Travel Massive New York City

About to reach their 1,500 community member mark and New York City is constantly busy planning new and exciting events. If you haven’t noticed, Travel Massive New York City gets mentioned quite a lot on our news site thanks to the many active community members who run startups across the world. We have to give some high fives to New York City for having some hardworking and passionate community members.

3. Travel Massive London

London is surpassing 1,400 community members strong and runs some pretty awesome events in local pubs around the area. With many events hosting over 100 people, there’s no wonder people want to be in attendance. London has a huge mix of bloggers, vloggers and startups all whom love networking! It is also home of the World Travel Market in which they host an event party every year.

4. Travel Massive San Francisco Bay Area

If there is one thing to note about the success of the San Francisco Bay Area, it is their consistency. Community members love knowing about events well in advance to add to their schedules. San Francisco plans all of their events on the first Tuesday of each month. In addition, they also hold quarterly events in the East Bay and have some incredible chapter leaders behind it all!

5. Travel Massive Cape Town

Besides the fact that Cape Town is constantly voted one of the best places in the world to be, Travel Massive Cape Town also holds some super unique events that keep community members coming by the dozens. Wine tours, road trips, helicopter rides, that’s just a few events that they’ve been busy with so far!

6. Travel Massive Toronto

Travel Massive Toronto has seen incredible growth over the last few years due to their stellar connections and strongly knit community. Last year Travel Massive Toronto was backed by some awesome sponsors including G Adventures, Booking.com, Visit Europe, Hostelling International and many more! They’ve also got their entire list of events and themes posted on their chapter page so that community members can plan well in advance.

7. Travel Massive Miami

Because really, who doesn’t want to go to Miami, Florida? Sun, sand, sea and Travel Massive! The weather is fantastic, the events are super cool and they were home to the TBEX South Florida conference which they connected to through a Silent Dance Party hosted by Silent Revolution.

8. Travel Massive Bangkok

Home to some of the world’s most renowned backpacking travel bloggers and an excellent hub for startups, Bangkok is booming with tourism professionals and an interest to learn more. Last year was the first TBEX Bangkok and brought in hundreds more to come and embrace Travel Massive Bangkok at the Agoda TBEX Party.

9. Travel Massive Los Angeles

Travel Massive Los Angeles chapter leaders take advantage of our online global blog and offer well written wrap-ups of almost all their events hosted in the city. This is a huge opportunity to feature sponsors from the event and a great way to keep the global community updated on your events. Los Angeles also works with many of the international tourism boards throughout the area including Visit Britain, Mexico City and the Montana Office of Tourism. These events are all hosted in a way to allow attendees to really experience an evening in another city.

10. Travel Massive Sydney

Hosting not just one, but often 2 events per month, Travel Massive Sydney is extremely active! Their success certainly comes from the incredibly interesting events they host month after month. They’ve hosted walking tours, film festivals, bar tours, oktoberfest celebrations, coffee tours, yacht parties and pitch events, do we need to go on?
