Travel Massive Ann Arbor Goes Quadricycling
Travel Massive Ann Arbor had the chance to join up with local tour guides from High Five Pedal Tours and Savor Ann Arbor for an incredible quadricycle experience.
This very special event was a collaboration between two local tour guides: Dave Cicotte of High Five Pedal Tours and Marcie Greenfield of Savor Ann Arbor.
We boarded Dave’s 16-person commercial quadricycle at the Ann Arbor Distilling Company and pedaled through the streets of downtown Ann Arbor (getting a lot of amused/skeptical looks along the way). After a few stops along the way, we stopped at Arbor Brewing Company for dinner and then Blank Slate Creamery for dessert. We then pedaled back to the Ann Arbor Distilling Company to see their brand new facility and meet the head distiller.
We had representatives from all areas of the industry in attendance, including hospitality (Hilton Garden Inn), tourism (Michigan Travels, Visit Ann Arbor) and media (Weber Shandwick).
In addition to meeting and mingling with one another, we learned more about the history of Ann Arbor and some of its best locales. Both Dave and Marcie are professional tour guides and shared their extensive knowledge of Ann Arbor and its many wonderful establishments.
Overall, the event was a huge success. With 16 attendees, this was our chapter’s largest event yet. Given the excellent company, perfect summer weather, and amazing food and drink, everyone had a blast.
