Köln Travel Massive Hosts BBQ with itravel

Köln/Düsseldorf Travel Massive might not be the biggest chapter out there, but they certainly have a reason to celebrate!

Travel Massive Köln and Düsseldorf hosted their first ever sponsored event last month at the beautiful office of itravel. The evening was complete with platters of barbequed meat, potato salad and an endless bar of wine and beer.

All Travel Massive guests were invited to the head office of itravel which is situated in the heart of Köln in a beautiful old warehouse building renovated and remodelled.

The evening started off with an update announcement by chapter leader Jenna Davis as she cheered the night to Travel Massive’s newest achievement: 20,000+ registered members!

Then Axel Schmiegelow, CEO at itravel, took the floor to talk about what makes their business unique followed by talk about “#forthatmoment – how experiences define travel”.

What is itravel? 

itravel is an online tour operator that provides luxury and premium customised vacations and unique experiences. Their focus is planning and organising [Your Best Vacation Ever]. They push the test to the limits to deliver extraordinary trips and unique travel experiences.

How did the evening go? 

The evening went over great! The food was delicious and there were about 30 people in attendance over the course of the evening. We had various travel bloggers and Instagramers in attendance along with a few awesome industry professionals from Experiencr, Trekksoft, Trivago and the Köln Tourism Board.
