Atlanta’s Celebrates the Summer with the Loews Summer Breeze

Travel Massive Atlanta’s July event was hosted at the Loews Atlanta Hotel in the Midtown neighborhood for some delicious snacks and custom cocktails.

We had a private room at Saltwood, the hotel’s restaurant, and snacked on charcuterie, hummus and cheeses, all signatures of the restaurant. The hotel also provided attendees with beer (including local brews!), wine, and their custom cocktail: the Loews Summer Breeze, a refreshing mix of melon and lime flavors.

Attendees were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the hotel and spa and had the opportunity to mingle with the hotel’s sales and marketing staff. The informal event allowed guests to fully experience the property and meet other travel industry members.

Saltwood’s menu resembled a meat shop, featuring items like regional cheese plates, ribeye, and charcuterie. For those looking for light options, the restaurant also served the vegetarian farro bowl, a customer favorite. They also had an extensive drinks menu of craft beer, international wine selections, and cocktails for every palate.

The hotel is the only location of the chain in the state and is ideally located in the middle of the city. It serves as ground zero for the annual Atlanta Food and Wine Festival, not to mention countless weddings and other events. Loews is a short walk from public transportation as well as major attractions like the Margaret Mitchell House and Piedmont Park.

Swag bags for the evening included artisan salts and sweets from Saltwood and a voucher to come back and try the Exhale spa! Thanks so much to Rachel Peavy and her team at the Loews Atlanta Midtown Hotel for making this event possible.
