Melbourne Chats About Building Local Partnerships

Building local partnerships is always a key element to discuss when building local businesses and the Travel Massive chapters.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Hophaus for our Melbourne Travel Massive August event. It was great to see so many of you again and also fantastic to see some new faces too.

A big thank you to our speakers for the evening:

  • Cameron Cope who gave a fantastic talk about his photography work and building local partnerships. In 2014, Cameron was awarded Travel Photographer of the Year by the Australian Society of Travel Writers. His projects and assignments have taken him from Gippsland to Mongolia, and Senegal to the Cook Islands, to name a few.
  • Liz Price from Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism who took us through the new marketing direction for the GOR and the current challenges she faces.

We also announced the winners of the Great Ocean Road competition (thanks to Liz for donating the nine trips). We had a fantastic response to the competition with over 60 entries so it was hard to pick just 9.
