Welcome to ITB Asia! Travel Massive is proud to be here for a fifth year to connect and build our community in Asia and to support some of the world’s best tourism conferences. 

Join us for networking drinks at ITB Asia

If you’re arriving to Singapore before the 20th, join us for Travel Massive Networking Drinks during ITB Asia – on Wednesday, October 19 from 7pm to 9pm at The Bank. It’s a great way to meet members of our Singapore Chapter, and you might find an investor or two hanging out with us. Make sure you register if you plan to attend.

Travel conferences to attend

As well as attending ITB and their content seminars, there are a number of events earlier in the week that you can attend – also hosted at the Marina Bay Sands conference centre.

If you’re a travel technology startup or in online travel, you might want to also check out WITAsia’s biggest online travel conference runs from 17-19 October (the first day is a startup-up bootcamp). WIT’s theme this year is “Reimagine” and features more than 30 leading speakers from the world’s online travel landscape.

TravMedia’s IMM. If you’re a tourism brand or travel journalist, then TravMedia’s International Media Marketplace (IMM) single day event on 18 October is for you.

Agoda.com is one of the world’s largest online accommodation reservation companies with more than 800,000 properties in 38 different languages. Timothy is a “retired” blogger and pundit. Previously he was the editor and publisher of one of the top online travel industry blogs (the BOOT: the Business Of Online Travel) and a writer at the Travel Tech and Online Industry blog Tnooz. Tim is a former lawyer and venture capitalist. Tim has a Bachelor of Commerce and Hons Law Degree from the Australian National University.

Experienced in travel affiliate marketing with the focus on flights and hotels metasearch. Responsible for affiliate product development initiatives and making projects done. Co-founder & CEO Venture Republic – Travel.jp

Kei co-founded and runs Venture Republic that owns Japan’s largest online travel metasearch engine and online travel guide media “Travel.jp” and blogger generated online travel media “Trip101.” As CEO, he took the company public in 2008 after 7 years of operations. Previously, Kei worked at Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan’s leading trading & investment firm. He received a BA of Laws from Keio University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He also serves as co-founder of WIT (Web in Travel) Japan, President of Venture Mitakai at Keio University, and Executive Committee Member of Harvard Business School Club of Japan.

By the age of 14, Jens already managed several gaming websites and organized LAN-party’s for hundreds of people in Belgium and the Netherlands. At the age of 19 he won the title of Young European Entrepreneur Of The Year. After his first startup at the age of 20, Jens traveled around the world and wanted to combine his travel passion with his passion for entrepreneurship. He saw an extremely competitive landscape and decided to partner with everyone instead of competing. In 2015, Jens and his Co-Founder Jappe landed in Singapore and founded travel startup octotrip.com.
