Learn More About The Travel Massive Prague Events

Lenka Nemcova, Business Travel Manager of OCTOPUS and Travel Massive Prague chapter leader, helps to organize bigger tourism events around the city. She helped put together the Travel Massive Academy seminars in November and is co-chapter leader in Prague with Petr Klymec. 

Lenka has been a travel addict ever since university when she started working in the industry. She became a member of Travel Massive Prague in early 2016 and is very excited to create more exciting events for the community. So, we decided to ask her a few questions about what makes the Prague chapter so special.

What makes your chapter unique?

The topics and ways that we host most of our events are colorful, to say the least. We try to constantly host different events like networking events, sports events, workshops, etc. We are also trying to fit more activities and educational workshops about travel and tourism into our events as well.

Tell us about your chapter leaders.

Petr Klymec is the co-chapter leader for Travel Massive Prague.

I joined the Prague chapter because of his speech at the international Travel and Tourism Exhibition “Holiday World” in February 2016. He is an inspirational and creative professional, he is also an extraordinary idea maker (with a capital “I”).  

What is your most memorable event in this chapter so far?

The summer BBQ party at the rooftop bar of the 5-star Sheraton Hotel was quite an event to remember. There were 60 people in attendance (30 more on the waitlist) in the summer of 2016, we had grilled specialties with a gorgeous panoramic view of the Prague Castle. The venue was unique and in combination with the great weather, it was an amazing experience. The main sponsor was the Sheraton Hotel.

If you could highlight 3 awesome people in your chapter, who would they be?

While there are tons of creative people in the Prague Travel Massive chapter, there’s a few who we would love showcase:

Jaroslav Hora is a very skilled and helpful photographer, who enjoys cooperating with us and taking photos.
Jan Moravec is a willing and very cooperative member who actually helped us to get Emirates as a sponsor, thank you Jan!
Veronika Subrtova is a very creative and successful vlogger/blogger from our Prague community.
