Travel Massive LA Après Ski with Vail Resorts

Travel Massive LA’s latest event was a serious blast. All the fun of ‘après-ski’ minus the actual snow part. They had one of the highest turnouts ever.

Many said was “one of their favorite events” of the year. It was a pleasure to get the LA travel gang together for the last time this year and I was impressed by just how many came out.

We were more than excited to welcome our Northern Vail Resorts friends down to sunny SoCal for a night of wintery revelry. They certainly reminded us of how many great mountain resorts we have within our reach– all just a short flight away. Their tagline, “Experience of a Lifetime” certainly seems fitting after hearing about Northstar, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Park City and more.

Big thanks to all the Vail Resorts & JPR crew and special thanks to Marcie from Northstar for working double duty to organize this epic night with me. Jessica certainly made Park City feel very welcoming and a whole lot closer than we ever imagined. Big applause to Coop, from Kirkwood & Heavenly Mountain Resorts, for getting us all stoked on each mountain and for also being a great master of ceremonies.

We had SO many winners throughout the night—8 in total. Each winner got a goody bag filled with useful mountain swag, as well as 2 lift tickets to a Vail Resorts Mountain property. Can’t wait to hear about their winter getaways at the next LA events in the coming months.

The Eveleigh’s outdoor “lodge” feel was perfectly fitting and the tasty appetizers and drinks rounded out the après ski vibe. Tanveer & Kelly killed it with their photo booth. If you haven’t seen the photos or gifs, head over to our Facebook page to browse/download them all.

I personally want to thank ALL YOU MEMBERS for a great year and for contributing to this growing, inspiring community. Just about every month, we’ve been able to throw a great Massive with enthusiastic sponsors, committed members, and influential travel insiders. We’ve had all types of events: British rooftop parties, Thai lounge events, Chinese karaoke den parties, resort style pool soirées, Mexican outdoor fiestas, swanky first-class gatherings and of course, winter après ski.

As the LA Chapter coordinator, I can only say that YOU make all the work behind-the-scenes worthwhile. Keeping this travel community connected and supportive of one another is key to our success and momentum. I’m impressed by each and every one of you and value being able to not only get to know you but also become friends & colleagues with you.
