Travel Massive Mumbai Talks About Travel Bloggers & Partnerships

Roxanne Bamboat, Travel Massive Mumbai chapter leader, is excited to share with the global community some awesome pictures from their big event last month.

During the evening of January 24th, 2017, Travel Massive Mumbai members met at a lovely little cafe called Desi Deli. The event was mostly attended by travel bloggers and ones that wanted to start one, in addition there were a few travel companies in attendance as well.

While we didn’t have a main sponsor for the night, the venue was pro bono and they ran a contest on twitter to give away 5 hampers as well as a free beer to every single person who attended. They also let us stay on for an hour longer because people were enjoying themselves so much – Travel Massive success, right?!

The theme for this meet-up was how travel bloggers can successfully work with tourism boards and travel brands. It was a presentation conducted by Shivya Nath from The Shooting Star who is considered to be one of the most successful Indian travel bloggers. She is a digital nomad and shared some wonderful insight and has been doing this for almost a decade.

Overall, the event was fantastic. The event was to run from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, but people started trickling in by 6.30 and we all left around 11:00 pm. We had a total of 46 people in attendance and a lot of them were new to Travel Massive. Everyone seemed very happy and were eager to come back for more.

We use the hashtag #TravelMassiveMumbai and #TMatDD (which was actually trending in India for a few hours!!!) I’m not even sure how it happened, but we were all thrilled.

Check out just a few of our photos from the evening!
