Travel Massive Stockholm Explores Ruegen, Germany

Travel Massive Stockholm Chapter Leaders, Lola Akinmade Åkerström, Annika Myhre and Sofia Zetterqvist hosted a fabulous event in partnership with the Germany Tourism Board back in January.

On January 26th, we held an event at the fabulous and new Scandic Haymarket (their bar and café is a must for everyone visiting Stockholm) in Stockholm together with the Germany Tourism Board.

They had invited some local tourism boards from the Rügen area and the Stockholm Travel Massive Chapter had 15 V.I.P. spots for the event, only for Swedish travel bloggers (first come, first serve). But the real star of the evening was the German Ambassador himself who opened the event and mingled around. He shared his best travel memories and travel tips with the travel bloggers, and also expressed his jealous “Maybe I should start a travel blog too”.

The Germany Tourism Board served a delicious three-dish dinner together with some beer tasting while the different local tourism boards presented their regions.

The Germany Tourism Board really had made an effort to make the event a great evening, they even brought this beach basket you will find at the beaches in the North of Germany so everyone could get some great Instagram pictures. In general, we have such a great community within the Swedish Travel bloggers now, so it is hard to fail when it comes to the atmosphere when we all get-together. The ambassador would make a good member as well haha.

Here are some links to the V.I.P. bloggers who posted about the event:

Those were some of the shots I took for my own blog, but if you still want some more, here are some awesome shots from Katarina Wohlfart of Äntligen Vilse.
