Meet Travel Massive’s Content Co-ordinator, Kirsty Tanner

If you’re a regular attendee at our Travel Massive Live webinars then you’ll already know Kirsty Tanner, Travel Massive Live Chapter Leader and our new Content Co-ordinator for Travel Massive Digital.

How did you get involved with Travel Massive?

As the Editor in Chief of In Marketing We Trust – an online marketing agency for travel brands and Travel Massive sponsor – I have been organising events for Travel Massive Live since February this year. I kicked off the webinars with my own presentation on Instagram for Tour Operators. Since then, the Travel Massive Live Chapter has grown to over 1,200 members, at the time of writing (check the recaps of our recent webinars).

What will you be working on for Travel Massive?

I will continue to lead the Travel Massive Live chapter and host webinars every fortnight to share learnings with the Travel Massive community about how to grow their travel brand. The chapter will also continue to be sponsored by In Marketing We Trust (they pay my salary!)

As the Content Co-ordinator for Travel Massive Digital I will be helping out with content across the digital platform – including the blog and social media. By now you will have noticed that the blog has gotten a makeover including a new home page that’s customised, and posts are conveniently categorised by region. There’s also updates to our marketplace and we’ve just soft-launched our new discussion forum – the Travel Massive Lounge.

What is it like to live in Tasmania?

I live and work from my home in Tasmania, Australia and occasionally from my Kombi van travelling along the white beaches up the Tasmanian East Coast. I’m a ‘mainlander’ (translation: born on the mainland of Australia) by birth but a Tasmanian by heart. For me – Tassie (as we call it) has it all. From my home it’s a 15 minute drive in any direction to either the city, forest or beach. When I’m not working on projects for In Marketing We Trust or Travel Massive (sometimes even when I am) you can find me at the beach with my Kelpie, Spot.
