Travel Massive Athens Provides Networking and Education
In December, Travel Massive hosted two events in Athens. Here’s what happened…
This event recap is from Chrissa Krassa and Maria Athanasopoulou, co-founders of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece Travel Massive and chapter leaders of Athens Travel Massive.
Travel Massive Inspires Tourism Students
On Friday, December 8, 2018 the students of the private tourism school Etoile By Les Chefs had the opportunity to join a presentation of Travel Massive platform’s goals and benefits. The school is based in Athens and is one of the most well known and reputable private tourism schools in Greece.
The main goal is to offer to these future tourism entrepreneurs the opportunity to get to know what Travel Massive is and get them involved in the community.
The following items were discussed during the presentation:
- Maria explained how the platform works, how one can register and what are the benefits of being a member.
- The Marketplace and Discussion Forum attracted the interest of the students. A live discussion was raised and subjects such as the travel influencers role and the importance of networking in tourism were analysed.
- Maria spoke about the various events of Travel Massive running all around the world and the opportunities that arise from them.
- The students showed great interest to the Travel Massive LIVE chapter for its webinars and showcasing of tourism projects.
Travel Massive Meets at Greek Tourism Expo
On December 9, 2017 during the annual tourism exhibition Greek Tourism Expo. members of Travel Massive Athens had an opportunity to meet each other at the exhibition premises.
The event was a great opportunity for the members of Travel Massive Athens to discuss the future actions of the chapter and explore possible cooperation among its members.
Several tourism professionals – who visited the exhibition or had their own stand – were invited and joined the event to gather information about the Travel Massive platform.
Maria and Chrissa replied to their questions and explained the way they can register and mentioned how they can benefit by their membership in the community.
