Travel Massive Thessaloniki hosts students from New York College

In December the Thessaloniki and Northern Greece chapter hosted an educational event in with the students from the New York College. Here’s what happened…

Travel Massive Thessaloniki & Northern Greece talk all things tourism at the New York College.

Maria and Chrissa, the chapter leaders of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece chose to end the 2017 year with a festive event with the students of a private tourism school, based in Thessaloniki, the New York College to discuss employment and networking opportunities in the tourism sector.

The New York College generously hosted our event for students. The New York College is a group of educational institutions offering high-quality multicultural education through its academic collaboration with prestigious American and European Universities.

The meet up allowed the students to ask questions to our Travel Massive members. Maria was on hand to discuss with students the benefits of networking, including joining Travel Massive.

One of the biggest areas of concern raised by the students was in the areas of finding a suitable job post-graduation and the importance of correct social media handling.

A huge thank you to Mr. Babis Michailidis, the director of the school and Mrs. Labrini Kelesidou , the teacher of tourism welcomed us and arranged all the details of the event.
