NYC Travel Massive hosts Guadalajara Tourism

Travel Massive New York City kicked off the festivities with their gracious hosts Guadalajara Tourism. The talented chefs Darren Walsh, co-owner of Alcalde, and Fernanda Covarrubias, co-owner of La Postrería, flew in to share the complexities of Chile en Nogada and Tostado de Marlin, two of the six canapés they created and served. The results were like pieces of artwork.

During the event, they raffled off a trip for two to Guadalajara. Scherrie D of ThirtyMommy was the lucky winner, and we hear that it will be her birthday gift to herself. Go Scherrie! Enjoy the Tequila Train. To learn more about Guadalajara check out #VisitGuadalajara on Instagram.

Taiwan Now Boarding Takes Off From NYC

In partnership with Travel Massive, Taiwan Tourism staged a rocking Manhattan event on February 1 with trips of a lifetime up for grabs that evening to Taiwan. Hundreds filed around the block to Chelsea’s Marquee New York venue, clutching entry tickets, with the aim of winning two spontaneous 5-day, 4-night getaways to Taiwan. The chosen winners (with an approved boarding pass) would travel to Taiwan instantly that evening, being chauffeured in style to the airport to begin their journey.

The wildly successful event featured traditional Taiwanese dragon dancing, games, tea and bubble tea stations, Taiwanese eats and an open bar for about 300 guests. Anyone that made it into the venue stood the chance of winning one of two pairs of tickets for two individuals courtesy of both China Air and EVA Air.
