Event Recap – An evening of Cocktails & Conversations with Travelstart Nigeria at Hard Rock Café

Travel Massive Lagos joined Travelstart Nigeria to present an evening of Cocktails and Conversations at Hard Rock Café Lagos.

Recently, we partnered with Travelstart Nigeria to present an evening of Cocktails and Conversations at Hard Rock Café Lagos. We hosted over one hundred guests who work in travel to take part in several games, sip cocktails and enjoy some delicious snacks. Travel and tourism professionals showed up in force with travel agents, bloggers, and photographers, all making an appearance to support us.

The event was sponsored by Travelstart Nigeria, a leading online travel agency. Headquartered in Cape Town, Travelstart has offices across Africa and the Middle East. The company helps travel consumers to save time and money when planning their holidays. It offers a simple online booking platform, where consumers can search, compare and book their travel.

Breaking the ice

Our MCs of the evening were Funmi Oyatogun of TVPadventures and Adedamola Idowu of Irinajo. Funmi came up with a BRAND NIGERIA TOURISM GAMES COMPETITION, where the guests were divided into groups to come up with a brand name for Nigeria. It was an entertaining evening, the groups came up with unique and interesting names, and the winners won special gifts from Travelstart Nigeria and Irinajo.

The competition judges were Bukky Akomolafe of Travelstart, Seun Adigun and Aminat Odunbaku of BSF Nigeria – The Nigerian Bobsled Team. One of our Travel Massive members, Anu Olopade won a N100,000 voucher from Travelstart. She led her team to win the BRAND NIGERIA TOURISM GAMES COMPETITION (#EvergreenNaija) during the hangout.

All the guests went home with goodies from Travel Massive and Travelstart Nigeria. We mixed interesting dialogue about travel in a relaxed beach environment, cocktails, games and incredible music to produce an amazing event. We had a blast!
