Social Media Week Lagos took place in the last week of February. To celebrate all things social media the Lagos chapter invited thought-leaders in the travel and tourism industry to join us for an insightful and informative session at Landmark Centre. Bringing together a panel of creative minds to explore how the convergence of social media has given travel consumers access to everything they want – anytime and anywhere.

Tell us about your keynote speakers.

Top three Insights from Travel Massive SMWLagos Session;

  1. Social media has a profound effect on the behavior of a travel consumer, and social media marketing is a significant part of a travel brand’s integrated marketing strategy.
  2.  The exponential growth of User Generated Content (UGC) on the web is staggering. Consumers prefer UGC because they are genuine, unique and honest. Travel brands can utilize the content guests create to boost their online presence.
  3.  The power of social media will continue to grow as travel consumers continue to share and learn new experiences on social media channels.
