What happened at Lisbon’s very first event?

Our Lisbon chapter recently held their very first event at the luscious Lisbon Cooking Academy.

Sandra Henriques is a travel blogger, freelance writer and the chapter leader for Travel Massive Lisbon. Thanks to Sandra for hosting and talking to us about their very first event.

Lisbon Chapters very first meet up happened May 2nd at the warm and homey Lisbon Cooking Academy. A small but strong group met, connected, and discussed the future of Travel Massive in Lisbon in a casual environment over petiscos and wine.

The small group of seven was an interesting mix of first-timers and veterans. There was an instant connection and everyone engaged in conversation with each other like old friends, openly sharing their thoughts and ideas for the future of the community in Lisbon.

A huge thank you to the Travel Massive members who joined me on our first event; Joana Batista, Helmut Didio, Marina Coelho, João Soares, and Bernardo Reis.

As this was our very first event and it was a wonderful way to kickstart our chapter. It was great getting to know each other and understanding the community’s needs and expectations. We’re looking forward to hosting more events and growing our chapter into a bustling community in Lisbon.

Thank you to our sponsor.

Chef Ana Viçoso welcomed us at the headquarters of her passion project: Lisbon Cooking Academy. Her workshops combine her love of cooking, entertaining, and teaching, in a laid-back environment – an absolute mirror of Ana’s personality and the perfect venue for our first event.
