Photos + Video from San Francisco’s Event With #ColorsofCarlsbad

The San Francisco Chapter recently hosted Visit Carlsbad at the Interval at Long Now in Fort Mason to learn about their “Colors of Travel” campaign – a world first and innovative color centric travel campaign.

Carlsbad (map link) is a coastal city located just 30 minutes North of San Diego, and is brimming with colorful places to visit and explore including beaches, trails, and attractions.

The city’s attractions include LegoLand, Sea Life Aquarium, Museum of Music Making, Discovery Center, Carlsbad Ecology Center, and two urban wineries and five breweries!

Colors of Carlsbad Campaign

Visit Carlsbad teamed up with Wagstaff Worldwide, Higher Influence and Pantone to produce a world’s first color centric travel campaign – Colors of Carlsbad. By leveraging the social content created in Carlsbad, the team was able to find four colors that represented what the city is all about.

The research by the team resulted in a color palette being developed to represent the City of Carlsbad:

• Island Paradise
• Salmon
• Eden
• Brandied Melon

San Francisco Travel Massive Meets Colors of Carlsbad

A big thanks to Visit Carlsbad for inviting Travel Massive members to learn about their campaign! We were surrounded by beautiful flowers matching the Colors of Carlsbad, tasted custom “Brandied Melon” cocktails, and took photos in the their custom photo-booth. It was an immersive experience that got everyone excited for their next trip to Carlsbad. 🍹 🙌
