Mumbai Event Recap – Travel Video 101

Mumbai Travel Massive recently held an event at Independence Brewing Companyto share tips on how to create great travel video content.

This is an event recap from our Mumbai chapter lead Roxanne Bamboat, a travel and culinary writer, aka The Tiny Taster.

This was the first ever event focused on travel videos in Mumbai and it was great to have two experts break down the process of how to approach video content.

Parampara Patil Hashmi and Parichay Mehta told their fellow chapter members about what it entails to make videos when you travel and the reality vs. what people perceive it to be.

Both Parampara and Parichay have been focusing on quality content when they travel and put together a step-by-step presentation to dispel any myths about video making. They discussed some of the following topics and more:

• What software to use
• Different types of cameras
• Pre- and post-production
• How to work with brands and what kind of collaborations to expect
• How to monetize your travel video content

Not only was the presentation informative but it generated a host of questions that were openly discussed, and led to a wealth of information being exchanged between our members.
