What innovations are in store for this year?

This year the exhibition floor space is more of an open ‘market place’ – gone are the days of stuffy, boxed in exhibitor stands. Our visitors can freely walk from destination to destination to speak to our experts.

We have the ‘Experience Hub’ which allows our exhibitors to present their destination in an interactive manner and engage our buyers through a memorable experience.

Free seminar content is tailored towards our visitors with high calibre speakers presenting across the two days.

There are also fantastic items to WIN with Passport to prizes, as well as the two networking cocktail functions across both days.

What are some new exhibitors and destinations this year?

There are 58 exhibitors at the show this year – showcasing leading destinations, experiences and travel services providers.

Here’s a few of our newest exhibitors this year:

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours: From humble beginnings to world-renowned luxury cruise and tour operator, in 2016 Scenic celebrated 30 years as a leader in its field.

AYANA Resort & Spa: Already famed in Bali and Jakarta for world-class hospitality, exceptional hotel design and unparalleled service standards, AYANA will be launching the first and only five-star resort at Labuan Bajo.

CINZ (Conventions & Incentives New Zealand): Learn about hosting your convention or meeting in New Zealand.

Timor Leste Tourism: Visit an unspoiled gem; a beautiful new tourism travel destination offering incredible natural beauty, rich history, and unique cultural experience.

Shandong Tourism: Shandong is a coastal province located in the East China region and its coastline is one-sixth of China’s total coastline.

Submarine Downunder: First of its kind underwater attraction proposed in Australia for the shores of Sunshine Coast.

What are you looking forward to most about this year’s show?

This year The Travel Industry Exhibition has partnered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau as our Destination Partner.

The show will be officially opened with traditional Sri Lankan dances, with various local experiences such as Ceylon tea-drinking ceremonies held throughout the day.

Top tips for attendees to get the most from the exhibition?

To get the most out of the show experience, we recommend registering yourself and your colleagues prior to the show, simply bring your phone with your QR code and walk straight in!

Both days include a full day of seminars from 11:30am – 4pm, so head to the website to plan your day around the seminar sessions you want to sit in on!

While you’re there, we recommend scoping out the exhibitor list so you know exactly who you want to meet with at the show – with 58 exhibitor stands, there is an abundance of new destinations and services to explore.

– Thanks for the Q&A, Zambella. See you at the exhibition!
