Event Recap – Travel Massive Cape Town Sunset Bus Tour with City Sightseeing
In the last days of December, Travel Massive Cape Town got together for a fun City Sightseeing Sunset Bus tour and networking.
The event recap was written by Fuad Peters, chapter lead in Cape Town. He is passionate about tourism development & marketing and has 17 years of experience in the area. Currently, Fuad is running his own consultancy business – Cape Tourism Connect.
The sightseeing tour started at Two Oceans Aquarium and reached the Signal Hill for a beautiful sunset view. The sponsors of the event were City Sightseeing – offering hop-on, hop-off experience of Cape Town, and Vista Marina Restaurant & Sushi Bar – a signature restaurant nestled next to the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront.
Starting off with tapas and drinks at Vista Marina beside the aquarium, we then hopped onto the last 2018 sunset bus tour on a scenic drive to Signal Hill for the sunset and a picnic. Attendees got to socialize and chat about the years’ activities and business plans for 2019.
With a great mix of industry representatives, some new relationships were started and others further strengthened.
Regular event attendees Anna Reyneke, Jacqui Cooks, Hailey Donald, and Sherise Dreyer brought their flair as always. Newcomers Tescha Chetty, Edwill Meyer, Matthew Feltman, and Natasha Micha were excited to be part of a Travel Massive event for the first time.
As we are quite the social bunch in Cape Town, we enjoyed the time to unwind and chat and got to learn more about each other and sharing ideas and plans for 2019 travel development and growth.
