TravelNevada Hosts Toronto Travel Massive

Content creators and industry insiders from Toronto Travel Massive learned all about what Nevada has to offer, with some help from the TravelNevada tourism board.

There’s so much more to Nevada than Las Vegas.

That’s what Toronto Travel Massive members learned at an event hosted by TravelNevada this May.

Did you know that Nevada means “snow capped” in Spanish, because of the snow which covered the mountains in winter? 

The evening gave travel industry influencers the opportunity to meet and connect one-on-one with TravelNevada and their tourism partners, including: Nevada Cowboy Country, Nevada Silver Trails, Pony Express Nevada, Reno Tahoe, Visit Fallon, and Visit Pahrump.

From cowboy culture and culinary hot-spots to dusty ghost towns and outdoor adventures, such as world-class skiing and hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail, attendees discovered that the Silver State offers something for everyone.

Two community members will get to experience Nevada for themselves!

We hosted a Tweet-to-Win contest encouraged attendees to interact online using #TravelNevadaCAN and share on social media what inspires them to explore Nevada.
