July in Nashville: From Music to Food

It’s no secret that Nashville has turned into quite the foodie city, and it was about time for the Travel Massive community to learn more about the food and beverage industry in town.

This event recap was written by Lisbeth NortonTravel Massive Nashville’s leader. Lis is also a freelance writer, documentary photographer, represented by Zuma Press. She provides literal and visual narrative that captivates viewers while tugging on their heart strings, one frame at a time.

In July, Travel Massive members gathered at WeWork to learn from expert Crosby Keltner about Nashville’s food and beverage industry.

Crosby, the owner of Nashville staple Pancake Pantry, came to speak about the changes and challenges of Nashville’s restaurant & hospitality industry and in what direction it may be headed.

Anne Fletcher, co-founder of TravelSOUL App, also spoke about how users can utilize the app to quickly find and chat with like-minded travelers who are planning to be at the same place as you at the same time. What a cool concept.

WeWork was gracious enough to provide the space and yummy drinks. Theresa Vongkhamchanh at WeWork gave us a tour of the stunning facility, showed the group the co-working spaces, and told us how they are expanding with three new locations soon.

Music city continues to grow and we can’t help but get excited about it. Thanks to all new and returning attendees, among which Jena Salb and David Shults of ThirdHome, writer Alicia Johnson, and others.
