Berlin’s Travel Trivia Night with Trip.me

Berlin Travel Massive started the year off with a fun travel trivia night and networking at the new trip.me offices in trendy Kreuzberg.

Which city is…?

Berlin members got to test their travel and geography knowledge in a travel quiz on January 14. We met at the offices of online travel company trip.me, which puts travelers in direct contact with a growing network of local travel agents all over the globe.

We were warmly welcomed by their team and started the evening with drinks, snacks and networking. By fitting together puzzle pieces, the attendees were then split up into eight groups, which set out to answer the 30 questions in the quiz.

Questions ranged from “Which country is also called the Hellenic Republic?” (Answer: Greece) to “What does the word ‘Karaoke’ mean in Japanese?” (Answer: Empty orchestra).

The Quiz Winners

Chelsea Creighton and Tij Verhees from trip.me were great quiz masters. Thanks also to Edgar Fluijt and Sandra Zschach for organizing the event and setting up the quiz and Felipe Machado Soares for the great cover photo.

Three teams led the pack with the Lionesses winning with 25 out of 30 questions answered correctly, and quickly – extra points were awarded for speed.

Prizes included a trip.me travel voucher, a reusable travel bottle, a scratch map and a travel planner. Congrats to Katha Eberhardt, Carol Malasig, Sophie Kossack and trip.me’s Lena Kosmalski for their great team effort and win!
