Here’s the replay from the LIVE discussion panel on Covid-19 from April 23 with Travel Massive members from Bangkok, Bali, and Vietnam discussing the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the industry in Southeast Asia specifically.

Paul Pruangkarn, Director – Communications at the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)

Paul heads up communications for PATA, which is the a not-for-profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. He oversees day-to-day operations of all communications and serves as the senior spokesperson for the Association. Paul has been a long-term supporter and former speaker at Travel Massive events.

Bart Bellers, CEO of Xpdite Capital Partners

Bart has over 20 years experience in corporate innovation, travel technology, startup ecosystems and business development. Xpdite is a travel tech-focused venture studio and investment firm. Xpdite invests in Asian seed-stage technology startups, operates a market builder for foreign growth companies and manages corporate-startup collaboration programs.

Natalya Smolenskaya, Co-Founder of SecretEATS Global Experiences

Natalya has transformed an existing pop-up dining project – SecretEATS, into unique food and cocktail experiences for travellers. Previously, she was the country manager for Grasshopper Adventures. Natalya is the Chapter Leader in Hoi An and also plays a role of supporting the entire Travel Massive community in Vietnam.

Stuart McDonald, Co-Founder of Travelfish

Stuart is the co-founder of Travelfish.org, a Southeast Asia online travel guide founded in 2004 and the author of Couchfish, a guide for travellers stranded on their couch in the age of COVID19. Stuart has been based in Southeast Asia since 1997 and has lived in Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Jakarta and currently Bali.
